Richard C. Mumey

BACKGROUND

  • Richard "Rick" Mumey spent over 20 years as a Houston firefighter beginning his legal career representing working men and women in Texas, including Houston firefighters. Prior to becoming an attorney, Rick spent 23 years as a professional firefighter in Texas, retiring as a chief officer in the Houston Fire Department.
  • Rick's primary focus is labor & employment for public employees. He has served as General Counsel for the Houston Professional Fire Fighters Association, IAFF Local 341 and its 4,000 members for years.
  • Rick has also prepared hundreds of Wills and other estate planning documents for his clients.
